This year’s flu season follows the largest mass vaccination campaign in our history. It could be a perfect storm due to the possibility of a new circulating flu variant, potential administration of third COVID-19 vaccine “boosters”, vaccine apathy, healthcare burnout and uncertainty around co-administration of COVID-19 and influenza vaccines.
