A poll undertaken by 19 to Zero and commissioned by the Neighbourhood Pharmacy Association of Canada (Neighbourhood Pharmacies) has found that as many as one in four adults has missed, or is unsure if they have missed, a routine vaccination for themself or their child. Additionally, the data collected suggests that up to 35 per cent of children may have missed a critical routine vaccination. The poll findings also reinforce that Canadians value convenience, flexibility and accessibility in their routine immunization sites, and desire more options to receive routine immunizations at pharmacies. The results represent the responses 9,091 adult Canadian citizens surveyed online between August 30th and October 10th, 2021.
