Pharmacies Power Economies Advocacy Toolkit

Help show that pharmacies power healthy communities and strong local economies

Community pharmacies are essential healthcare providers and important economic engines in communities across Canada.

The recently released Economic Footprint of Canada's Pharmacy Sector report demonstrates the significant economic contribution pharmacies make through jobs, labour income, economic activity and government tax revenues in addition to the vital healthcare services they provide every day.

As governments make decisions about healthcare, economic development and small business policy, pharmacy needs a strong voice at the table.

This toolkit (google drive link) gives pharmacy owners, managers, pharmacists and other pharmacy team members practical resources, key messages and templates to help bring that story to elected officials and communities across the country.

Take Action: #PharmaciesPowerEconomies

Beginning August 31, 2026, we invite pharmacies across Canada to participate in the #PharmaciesPowerEconomies campaign and help demonstrate the healthcare and economic value pharmacies bring to their communities.
