As Canada embarks on the largest vaccination campaign in its history, healthcare providers, including pharmacists, will need to leverage their trust and help build confidence in vaccines and other measures to slow or stop the spread of COVID-19. Dan Berry, Hill+Knowlton's U.K. Behavioural Science Lead, Dr. Nancy Waite, Professor and Associate Director of Clinical Education at the University of Waterloo and co-lead of the Ontario Pharmacy Evidence Network, and moderator Dr. Shelita Dattani walked participants through research on vaccine hesitancy. They also discussed the current experience in the U.K. and resources for HCPS to engage Canadians in discussions around vaccine hesitancy.
