Neighbourhood Pharmacies offers its congratulations to Premiere Doug Ford and the Progressive Conservative Party, and all elected Ontario MPPs. Ontario’s community pharmacies welcome the opportunity to support the government in meeting the public health and primary care needs of Ontarians. In particular, we look forward to working with the government to implement pharmacist minor ailments prescribing, and increasing community pharmacy delivery of routine immunizations. Pharmacies have offered accessible, critical support to patients and communities throughout the pandemic and are a partner to government, public health and primary care providers. Working with the community pharmacy sector helps expand access to vital healthcare services for Ontarians, allowing the government to focus on economic recovery and health system resilience.
